Refund policy

Last updated: 23 August 2026

There are two separate ways to get your money back, and you can use whichever suits you. One is a right the law gives you and we cannot touch. The other is a promise we make on top of it, voluntarily.

1. Your statutory right of withdrawal — 14 days

As a consumer in the EU you may withdraw from the subscription contract within 14 days of concluding it, without giving any reason. This is your right under § 355 BGB; nothing on this page and nothing in our Terms limits it.

Everything you need is on the Right of withdrawal page: the statutory instruction, the model withdrawal form, and an online withdrawal function (§ 356a BGB) that takes one minute and sends you a timestamped acknowledgement by email.

One honest detail: at checkout you tick a box asking us to start the service immediately, before the 14 days are over. That is what lets you dictate the same minute you subscribe. If you then withdraw, you owe a proportionate amount for the days you actually used (§ 357a Abs. 2 BGB) — and once the contract has been performed in full, the withdrawal right ends (§ 356 Abs. 5 Nr. 2 BGB). In practice, for a monthly subscription cancelled after a few days, that proportionate amount is a couple of euros.

2. Our voluntary money-back guarantee — 30 days

This is a guarantee within the meaning of § 479 BGB. Its terms, in full:

Which one should you use?

How the money comes back

We refund to the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. We start the refund without undue delay and in any case within 14 days of receiving your request — that deadline is the statutory one and we apply it to the voluntary guarantee too. How quickly it then appears on your statement is up to your bank or card issuer, typically a few working days.
